March Blizzard

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!!! The snow started coming down yesterday (Friday March 7, 2008) around 11:00a.m and it's still snowing at 6:20p.m. on Saturday March 8, 2008. Ed has plowed the driveway twice and shoveled walkways for the dogs so that they can go outside! I have been hibernating in the house all day. I had the house cleaned by 10:00a.m., made an awesome breakfast, read about twenty-five pages in my new book, took a nap, took pictures of the dogs laying on the couch with Ed, and eat dinner!! Now, I am sharing pictures of our winter wonderland with you!!

Movies

Lately, it seems like all I do is watch movies, go to work, and coach basketball. Here are a few movies I have watched in the last few weeks that are worth watching.

I am actually going to see another movie today before the Superbowl starts. I am meeting up with a couple of my girl friends to see the movie 27 Dresses. I will let you know if it is worth going to see!

Dairy Queen

Yesterday I had to go to a basketball meeting at Copley High School. It took about 55 minutes to get there from my house, which wasn't so bad. However, I ate breakfast at 9:00a.m. so by 4:00p.m. when my meeting ended I was starving. I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat because I had a taste for some onion rings, fries, burger, and a shake. Then it hit me that I could get everything that I wanted at Dairy Queen!!! And I did!!! Everything was delicious.

Saturday, Ed had a show at Scorchers Bar in Eastlake. I stopped by for about an hour after my basketball game. I drank my sprite, visited with some of Ed's friends, and then went home. The band sounded great! Hopefully, some of you will catch them next time!

Food and Shopping

Friday night Ed and I grabbed a bite to eat at the Texas Roadhouse. Our food was delicious! We both order the country fried steak YUM! After dinner, we made our way home to watch movies. We watched Derailed with Jennifer Aniston, great movie!!

Saturday, I had to coach my basketball game and Ed went out with a buddy to see a live band. My team won their basketball game and Ed thought the band he saw was great!

Sunday, Ed and his father worked in the basement, which we have been trying to finish, and I napped on the couch! We order pizza for lunch and then around 4o'clock I went to Walmart to get a couple of little things that I needed.

Monday, we headed to the mall to find a sports coat. Ed does not own a sports coat and we decided it was time to purchase one in the event that we need to dress more formally. We found two really nice sports coats at JC Penney's. Yes, we decided to get two because they were originally $200.00 marked down to $60.00. Here is a picture of the coat we purchased! We also purchased the camel colored one!!!

2007 was a GREAT YEAR!

Now that the year 2007 has come to and end, I thought it would be fun to update the blog with pictures of the past year. Ed and I had some great times and much fun with friends and family. The pictures include: parties, the band, friends, family, birthdays, the casino, science center, dirt bike riding, and just hanging out.
Check back for pictures of the New Year. I am sure it will be just as exciting if not more exciting!

Never Ending Update!

The month of September has been extremely busy at the Alberts household. We decided that it was time to do some remodeling. As you can see from the pictures, we took down wall paper that had to be from the 70's and painted the room "brick red". We also got new carpeting throughout the entire house and painted one of our upstairs bedrooms a delicate yellow! My husband has worked very hard to improve our home! He even gutted out some old steps in the basement and built new ones.
While my husband worked in the house, I found the time to go to my nephews soccer game, and my cousins volleyball game. When my husband was not working in the house, he found the time
to sing in his band.
