My long lady shark!

Andi is growing fast. A week ago I took her for her 9 month well visit where I learned that she is in the 94th percentile for height at 2ft 5 inches tall. Her height would definitely explain why she is in 18 month clothing at 9 months. Andi is beginning to develop her own strong personality which is a perfect fit with all the other strong personalities we have living under our roof. I can tell you this, Andi already knows what she wants and boy will she get it even at the cost of biting! Yep, she's my long lady shark. She already has six teeth and is not afraid to use them whether it be your finger, lip, shoulder, or pectoral area she'll get you!!! She is also crawling everywhere and getting into everything. And at times, will pull herself into a standing position! We love you our beautiful long lady shark!!!

Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012 proved to be yet another very special Christmas for many reasons. The two main reasons for me are of course, my children. Eddie was at the perfect age this year. I feel like he is really beginning to understand the idea of Christmas and the meaning behind celebrating Christmas. He was very curious this year about the who, what , where, when and why's of it all and he was also very excited to give "presents" this year which I loved. Most importantly, he couldn't wait to sit down and have "family feast" and say a ("personal") prayer. Andi on the other hand, was just happy to be with her family and in the mix of it all trying to tear wrapping paper here and there when she could. She would shout out an occasional "Yay!" and give a couple claps to show her excitement. She is a pure joy to be around and I thank god everyday for giving her to me!
