Shrink into Summer

No good news this week. I am up 2 pounds. I am not sure how because I have started the "30 Day Shred" program by Jillian Michaels and it's a killer. Hopefully, the weight gain is muscle mass. I haven't lifted weights in quiet a while and that's what the 30 Day Shred is all about! There is some cardio and ab workout in Level 1 but not really enough for me. However, I will try to stick to the 30 day workout in hopes that I am gaining lean muscle mass.

Here is what I did this week:

Thursday: OFF
Friday: 30 min. on elliptical with 5lb dumbbells.
Saturday: 45 min. Pilates workout
Sunday: OFF
Monday: Day 1 of the 30 Day Shred
Tuesday: Day 2 of the 30 Day Shred and 20 min. on the elliptical.
Wednesday: Day 3 of the 30 Day Shred and 20 min. on the elliptical.

And of course I have to give you all a baby update:

Our little man is now couch walking, wall walking, and taking chances by turning to grab onto another object to walk. He tries to stand when he crawls but it usual turns into a bear crawl. He said MOM very clearly three times on Mother's Day, how appropriate was that? And he tries to call for the dogs!!! He absolutely loves playing in the tunnel we have for him and loves his wagons. He is eating more solid foods these days and has thrown less food at me!!!! He is definitely going through the separation anxiety stage. When I drop him off at daycare or leave him with dad in the morning to take my work things out to the car, he screams his little head off but only for a short while! And he hugs and kisses me when I pick him up from daycare. I have a feeling our little man will be walking very soon!!!!

Good for you sticking with working out. It really will work. I need to get back to it again, too. ;)

Your little man sounds like he's growing so much!

I am sure you gained muscle. I tried that workout one day ha ha. I didn't make it too far. I should do it again. Landon isn't walking yet! He can take steps & stands in the middle of the floor by himself. He will even turn & walk from couch to couch, but he won't walk on a regular basis. His knees & pants are getting worn out from crawling outside! One of his words is dog too. He says "dot" and for cat he says "dat". It's funny - I love this stage!!
