"Shrink into Summer" AND a busy MOM

Unfortunately, Easter has not ended for me. I don't know what is wrong with me.... it seems like the only foods I have been eating are sweets!!!! Here's just a few that I have been stuffing into my mouth for about three weeks now: chocolate (any kind), ice cream (any kind), any desert type dish one of our educational associates keeps putting in the staff lounge, and cookies!!!! The plus side to my binge eating of said sweets is that I have not gained any weight or at least it hasn't caught up to me yet. The down side of stuffing said sweets into my mouth is that I have not lost any weight either. So, in effort to eat healthier my husband and I were busy this past weekend planting what seems like a gazillion seeds for our garden. We planted: broccoli, corn, green beans, cauliflower, squash, banana peppers, green peppers, red peppers, lettuce (a variety), tomatoes, and cucumbers. I don't know how I forgot to mention this before?? Probably because I was way to busy eating JUNK FOOD!!! I say move over junk food because healthier options are on their way!!!!

Here is a picture of what looks like a whole bunch of tin pans filled with dirt:
I assure you that there are plants growing and that I will be eating healthier once again. See? we already have broccoli sprouting!!!
And to add to my switch back to eating healthier, I will continue my workouts. Here is what I did this week:

Thursday: 33 min. on elliptical with 5lb dumbbells.

Friday: OFF

Saturday: 45 minute Pilates workout, with my little monkey of a son holding on for the ride!

Sunday: OFF

Monday: 33 min. on elliptical with 5lb dumbbells.

Tuesday: Played basketball

Wednesday: 28 min. on elliptical with 5lb dumbbells and sit-ups!

I am also in the process of getting ready for my son's 1st BIRTHDAY party. My baby is going to be 1 next Wednesday April 29th. I can't believe it!!! I have been gathering tables and chairs, decorations, drinks, and food items to prepare for the big event which is on May 2nd!!! I have also been making a few of the decorations.

Here is one of the birthday decorations that I am in the process of finishing! It's an Elmo first birthday sign!!!

My Jiffy Greenhouse is sitting on our kitchen floor growing seeds too. The boys keep falling on it and I just hope SOMETHING survives. I didn't plant quite as many seeds as you did, but we have quite a few. Looking forward to lots of veggies this summer. I ate candy last night too, and I've been doing so well :(
I can't believe the baby is one. How can that be?
R. had the twins yesterday. Everyone is good. The girl was 3# 9 oz and the boy was 5 # 3 oz.

You are busy!! I love the sign! Sounds like he is going to have a great first birthday. I still wish we would've done more for Landon's. I think we all go on binges of eating bad foods. I did from Halloween through Christmas ha ha. I did better with Easter! Just be happy you didn't gain!
